Eggs Holder
I often start my mornings with an omelet and two mangoes. This daily ritual sparked the idea for this project. Tired of egg cartons getting wet in the fridge over time, I wanted to create a permanent egg holder: a sculptural, functional object designed to last, both inside and outside the fridge
The design draws inspiration from the iconic emblem of King Béhanzin of Benin, depicting a hand holding an egg. An image that literally rocked my childhood. The result is an abstract interpretation of this emblem, where form, function, poetry, and personal history meet
